Upfields was founded by four lawyers. Three of them were in-house counsel in the legal departments of top European clubs. One was himself a footballer in a football academy, and three coached youth teams at the highest club level or in performance training centers. This combination is unique.

Our network includes clubs, sporting directors, scouts, and decision-makers in Germany, Austria, and far beyond. We have active collaborations and international connections, from the Bundesliga and the Austrian league to European and global markets.

From initial market analysis to contract signing. We identify club interest early, prepare negotiations using data, provide legal support every step of the way, and ensure the best possible sporting, financial, and legal outcome for you.

More than most players realize: bonuses, release clauses, image rights, freedom of kit supplier, extension options, severance packages. We know the market standards and know exactly where clubs have leeway and where they don't.

Yes. We negotiate equipment supplier and sponsorship contracts, protect your personal rights, and support the development of your commercial presence, from the first partnership to structured endorsement deals.

Both are part of a career. In case of injuries, we coordinate second medical opinions and contact with specialists. In case of dips in form, personal crises, or contract uncertainty, we are the first point of contact – with a clear head, a concrete perspective, and without panic.

From the very beginning. For us, career planning means: making the most of the peak and at the same time setting the course early for what comes next – financially, professionally and personally.

Generally, there is no direct payment. Compensation is based on a commission paid by the club upon success. Alternative arrangements are possible and will be communicated transparently in advance.
